Comcast Customer Service, What's that?

So, as you know we moved to a new office.

Some days before we did, we started getting postcards from Comcast saying they had internet service in our area (which they didn't before).

We work with the internet 24 hrs, so we thought would be a good thing to switch services. We are careful people, we called before to be sure they really had the service. 3 times actually. Last time we talked to a business service representative who said she would have a technician go to the area and double check.

Later she called and said all was fine. COMCAST HAD INTERNET SERVICE IN THIS AREA. Awesome we were thrilled! We went ahead and sent in the papers and canceled the other service with Qwest.

Waited 3 weeks for Comcast to come and install, just to find out that they couldn't do it because there were no cables close to this area.

Remember we double checked with them! No no no remember that they sent out a technician to come check! He clearly didn't do his job... 3 weeks waiting and they never saw there were no cables, they even double checked with a technician before! Pathetic.

All we got was : They can't do anything, too bad you got the wrong information. So sorry. They said they won't do anything because there are no other businesses with Comcast in this building. (Maybe because they don't have the option???????!!!)

We not only still don't have the internet, we are going to have to pay again for the installation fee with Qwest. Not to mention the trouble it was to cancel the service we had in the first place! Also, the fact that we're a business that fully relies on internet service doesn't weigh in a bit.

Their incompetence to implement an effective direct marketing campaign really show's through. Why in the world are the businesses in this area receiving postcards stating that there is service when there is not?!

Of course the only person having a loss here is me, who cares? Their mistake, my loss! Why should they care about customers anyway? Why do they need customers? Fact is, this has done damage to my business. Why should I ever choose to do business with them again?

Wow! Comcast sucks!

I do not like that they have a religion station that Comcast defaults to when I turn the tv on. I'm so displeased that I'm thinking of going to Qwest
