Online marketing facts and multi level marketing

Here are some facts for you: Technorati has 71 million blogs registered.
Funny thing: only 38% of the US population even knows what a blog is.
30% of users click on pay-per-click.
Prices for pay-per-click are going higher and higher.

I've been playing with Twitter for a while trying to find good uses for businesses. I can see that for internet marketing is probably a good tool to keep you informed.
What about other businesses? Do you have any ideas?

I found a great way to use Twitter for network marketers. I'll talk about it in my next webinar, "The other side of Network marketing"
The internet has many ways to improve a multi level business, not only generating new leads, as most people in this industry use the internet for. It also has great ways to keep the downlines one has and training them.

38% of US citizens don't know what a blog is?

Wow!

What's the percentage over here?

Sometimes it seams that it is even higher. When I speak for groups, usually more than 50% don't know what blogs are
