1st Annual Millcreek Township Venture Outdoors Festival

The 1st Annual Millcreek Township Venture Outdoors Festival, held June 17, was a huge success. The event was held in Canyon Rim Park, located at 2900 East 3100 South. Businesses, vendors, local authorities, politicians, and residents from the Millcreek Township were invited to set up booths to inform the community of services and happenings located in their own backyards.

dazzled spectators with a flurry of fire in the Ampitheater.

Close up and personal! Disabled birds of prey were exhibited, much to the delight of onlookers. Handlers instructed onlookers about the efforts being made to rehabilitate the birds.

The surrounding mountains created an amazing backdrop for a rock wall and a giant slide which were available for hours of family fun.

Mike Ziemba and Dave Hunter of A Gift of Touch Massage offered table and chair massage throughout the event.

So What Does the Women's Business Center Do?

The Women's Business Center helps women succeed in business by offering free counseling, a variety of trainings, a monthly networking group, mentoring, procurement, and a couple of major events to build awareness for women's accomplishments in business. The Women's Business Center is the place to go for women in business. We will do whatever it takes to help you succeed. Our networking group, the Business Women's Forum, will meet next Tuesday, June 20 at Lugano's Restaurant on 2300 East and about 3400 South at 11:45 a.m. Our speaker is Beth Levine of Smart Mouth Communcations whose talk is entitled, "Can You Hear Me Now?" which will improve your communications with your office and your family.
